I’m incredibly excited for the opportunity to serve as an Honor Flight guardian.
This experience feels personal in a way I didn’t expect. Learning more about my grandfather’s story has inspired me deeply and given me a new appreciation for what service truly means.
Through Southwest Florida Honor Flight, I’ll have the chance to accompany veterans on a trip to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials built in their honor. The mission is simple and powerful. Give veterans the recognition they deserve.
As our country approaches 250 years, this feels even more meaningful. It is a reminder that the freedoms we celebrate today were shaped by generations who stepped forward when it mattered most.
I’m looking forward to hearing the veterans’ stories, learning about their experiences, and honoring them in a way that goes beyond words.
Volunteering has always been important to me, but this feels like something more. It feels like a privilege.
I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to be part of it.
